The core of the Touratech “Sport” engine crash bar is the integrated grinding protection.
The contour of this is 100% matched to the valve cover of the 1300 Boxer and positioned in exactly the right place!
Should a “fall over” or “slip away” occur, the crash bar absorbs the resulting forces and distributes them gently.
In an emergency, the sliding pad can be supported flat over a large area on the valve cover.
The location of the tubes close to the engine ensures that the ground clearance is not affected.
The Touratech "Sport" engine crash bar is an effective combination of 25 mm thick electropolished stainless steel tube and extremely durable plastic elements.
